6/22/26 - New Vision, New Leads, Big Plans!
Programming - During this meeting, we were very productive. We made a final list of sensors which we need to buy, deciding to start out with the Limelight 3A camera due to the number of tutorials of usage & coding it we found, and we plan to purchase items for odometry later when we have more experience with the technology.
Business - We were told that soon we would be picking new leads. To be a team lead, we would have to make a team plan and create a team philosophy. If you wanted to be a department lead or a sub-team lead, you would have to decide which lead to be by 7/17. Stay updated to find out who the leads will be! We also started to get ready for summer camps by making decisions for who wanted to do what day. Finally, we began our research on this FLL season; BioGlow! We decided to research 3 main categories; professionals, missions and field trips.
Mechanical - Our department is looking at designs from previous years to learn more about robot design in FTC. There is a lot of discussion about shooting vs pick and place. We have the basic drive base now, so we want to build an intake or shooter for pracrice.
