10/12/26 - Making Progress
Mechanical Team - We took the entire robot design and made subcomponents: sorting, ramp, boot, and turret. We did a lot of sketches of ideas on the whiteboard and will send our ideas to an engineer to get feedback on the numbers we calculated. The mounting plate for the turret is vital to make everything come together since the dimensions will be based on where the turret shooter will be mounted. Everyone will work design in CAD to share their ideas at the next mechanical department meeting.
Programing Team - In today’s meeting, we connected code to our robot after we figured out the problem. We also tried connecting Android Studio with Github. With Rithish we downloaded Android Studio on his computer.
Business Team - Today, we didn’t do much in business. We just worked on our engineering portfolio, grants, and social media. We took team pictures in our team shirts but some people forgot or were sick so we are doing it next week again.
