06/01/26 - The Blueprint Era (Plus a Full Team Photo!)
Mechanical Team - We split up with Arjun and I doing research to find a mechanism to place our pollen into the correct spot. While Mrunali, Leen, Masha, and a new member, Srijan, worked to improve and iterate on our designs. Arjun and I drew detailed blueprints of our robot in both Side and Front views to scale allowing for later CAD operations. We came up with a conveyor/Waterwheel idea for a pick and place objective for FIRST CANOPY season, it could either be a Pick and Place or a shooter oriented game, but shooter was unlikely because that was the objective last year.

Programming Team - During this week, the programming sub-team was very productive. The programming leader of Team Genesis, Hank, gave us a tutorial of how to set up our Driver Hub, connecting it to the Wi-Fi and to our computers so we could test out some code. He taught us how to code some basic tasks, such as finding yaw, pitch, and roll. We went over our progress on tasks, and even though we hit a few hiccups, we have a plan for moving forward and plan to meet online to review our work. We were also able to make some more progress on our tasks. Overall, we got a lot done and are feeling more prepared than ever!

Business Team - We continued working on our thank you presentation today. It’s the main priority so we will keep working on it so we can get some work in! We decided who should say what part of our presentation. We also finally got a full team photo today! (Check the Thumbnail to see it!)
