05/11/26 - Building, Coding, and… Robot Dress-Up?
Mechanical Team - This week, we officially shifted our focus to the newly launched 2026–2027 FTC season, BioBuzz. We had members from one of our FLL outreach team, who worked alongside us to completely disassemble our previous robot. With the workspace cleared, we immediately began construction on the new goBILDA BioBuzz Starter Bot, making great progress on the new drivetrain while mentoring the younger students.
Programming Team - The programming subteam started spring cleaning for tasks, closing useless ones and in general reviewed all of them. We implemented 5 Ws and 1 H, using the basic questions to create a concise and easy explanation of each task. We also created a document with programming tutorial links and put it on our personal google drive. The target for next Monday is to complete the FTCSIM courses for movement and start on the courses for sensors.
Business Team - The business team was busy having fun! Our team decided that today was going to be a fun day. While some of us were busy cutting and gluing things, the others were busy making funny stickers! In some pictures, our robot was dressed like a fairy and in others, a chef or superhero! We had a lot of fun today!
